REPORT - ULSTER DEAF LADIES

Futsal - Interprovincial Tournament in Galway on Sat 22nd March 2008

The ladies had the opportunity to take part in the Futsal Interprovincial Tournament in Galway at the weekend.  This was the first year that they participated and it was very competitive, the other teams had been together for many years but this didn’t put the ladies off.  They tried their best and as the tournament went on their efforts started to show, the margin narrowed and eventually they got their win Munster 3, Ulster 5.  Our efforts were noticed by others, so much so that the player of the tournament was awarded to Donna Cross.  This was a great opportunity for the ladies; it gave them the chance to develop their skills and to meet new friends.
